HUNGER STRIKE
Today the 16th December 2009, we inform you that Ms Mehdi Meryem is on the seventh day hunger strike, at “ la maison des syndicats sis la glacière” Algiers.
After being arbitrary terminated on November 8th, 2009.
She was working for British Gas a multinational based in Hassi Messaoud
Ms Mehdi presents signs of dizziness, nausea, tiresome but she is determined to carry on her action.
We would like to inform you that the Women Committee of SNAPAP, have addressed a letter for intervention to the President of Algeria, the Committee have also called for the creation of National committee to support Meryem Mehdi this Saturday 19th, 2009, at 14.00 at “la maison des syndicats”
