Subject : Reintegration of Ms Meryem Mehdi

Following Ms Meryem Mehdi, Administration and Operations Coordinator, request to intervene in her favour and to approach British Gas management to claim for her reintegration, after being sabotaged and terminated on the 9th November, 2009 without any notice.

As per Meryem’s contract that stipulates in Article 04 that she was appointed to work in Hassimessaoud and for operational reason could be changed to another site (change that she understands and would not mind) provided that hardship allowances and salary are reviewed consequently, as mentionned in the letter emailed to Frank Chapman and Peter Haynes and sent by post with acknowledgement receipt on the 12th November.

We consider that there is a violation of Meryem’s contract and that she has been harrassed for months to be finally abusively terminated.

We would like you to reconsider your decision and reintegrate her in her position with the advantages inherent to her job and status.
